ABOUT us - a brief history

Marshall Longtain founded Accurate Carbide Tool in 1947 in a storage room of a local Saginaw Bar.  He tended bar by night, put money aside to purchase a surface grinder and spent his days grinding carbide tooling for local automotive plants.  He was driven craftsman who always put the customer first, going above and beyond to to provide quality tooling in short order.

We have evolved from this modest beginning through expansion into larger facilities and diversifying our machining capabilities.  Today, Accurate is under 3rd generation management and continues Marsh's legacy of providing quality tooling solutions for high precision production applications.
